▪ Have Expertise in Incident Investigation, MOC, PSSR, PHA at least for 2 years
▪ Candidate is Preferred to have hands on experience during Process safety Implementation
(Dupont/CCPS/OSHA) in their organization and good in tracking Leading/Lagging indicator for PSM.
▪ The Process Safety Candidate must be capable of identifying process hazards, evaluating the risk of those hazards, and assist in the development of effective solutions to mitigate risk.
▪ Robust Knowledge of Reaction like Hydrogenation, Oxidation, Grignard Reaction and Vacuum Distillation.
▪ Knowledge about various process equipment, Utility equipment like Compressor, Chiller, Boiler, N2
Plant, Vacuum system, Reactor, HE, Dist. Column etc., its operation and expected hazards during operation.
▪ Preference will be given to Process Safety candidates familiar with NFPA 30; IL state pressure vessel requirements; IL state atmospheric storage tank requirements; and experience interfacing with insurance carriers (Factory Mutual).
▪ The Chemical Process Safety Candidate responsibilities may include the following:
▪ Lead Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) on existing and new processes.
▪ Provide oversight for the site Management of Change (MOC) Process
▪ Manage the site PHA schedule and recommendation implementation plan.
▪ Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations for incidents and near misses.
▪ Provide oversight and conduct audits for Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSR)
