Role Description This is a full time Proposal Engineer Sub Sea role based in Mumbai, offered in a hybrid work model with some work-from-home flexibility.

The Proposal Engineer Sub

Sea will be responsible for preparing technical and commercial proposals for subsea projects, including scope definition, methodology, resource planning, and cost estimation. The role involves analyzing client requirements, reviewing technical specifications, and coordinating with engineering, operations, and finance teams to develop compliant, competitive bids. The individual will compile proposal documentation, support risk assessments, and contribute to bid reviews and presentations.

Day-to-day tasks also include maintaining proposal templates,



updating standard technical content, tracking proposal status, and supporting continuous improvement in proposal processes and tools.

Qualifications

Strong foundation in subsea or offshore engineering, geospatial technologies, or marine surveying, preferably with experience in data acquisition and digital twin solutions.

Proficiency in proposal development and bid management, including requirements analysis, scope definition, cost estimation, and technical documentation.

Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including engineering, operations, commercial, and project management stakeholders.

Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to interpret technical specifications and project documents.

Effective written and verbal communication skills for drafting clear proposals and interacting with clients and internal teams.

Comfort with relevant software tools such as MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and familiarity with 3D modeling, visualization, or CAD tools is an advantage.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Ocean, or related), Geomatics, or a similar technical field; postgraduate qualification or industry certifications in subsea or offshore domains are a plus.

Experience in the marine, offshore, or subsea industry and exposure to AR/VR, AI-driven interpretation, or digital twin implementations will be beneficial.
