Essential Qualification: Master’s in Public Health (MPH)

Desirable Qualification: Bachelors in Optometry/Ophthalmic Sciences

Experience: 1–2 Years

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct literature reviews and contextual analyses to identify priority research areas
- Design and implement mixed-methods studies (sampling, tool development, field coordination)
- Analyze quantitative and qualitative data using appropriate software
- Prepare scientific manuscripts, technical reports, and presentations
- Ensure compliance with research ethics, IRB processes, and data confidentiality
- Collaborate with government agencies, NGOs, academic institutions, and donors
- Mentor junior researchers and field teams
- Present findings at workshops, conferences, and dissemination platforms

Skills & Competencies
- Solid research design and analytical skills
- Proficiency in quantitative and qualitative data analysis




- Scientific writing and publication experience
- Sound understanding of research ethics and IRB protocols
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to mentor and build research capacity
- Strategic thinking with an evidence-based approach
