Department Civil Location Charoda Bhilai Job Title Project Manager Reports To Managing Director MD HR Job Overview The Project Manager - Civil will be responsible for end-to-end execution of assigned construction projects ensuring completion within defined timelines budgets quality standards and safety norms The role involves planning coordination execution monitoring team leadership contractor management and commercial control of projects Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning Execution Implement project schedules and micro-plans to ensure timely project completion Prepare Work Breakdown Structures WBS based on the Master Plan and BOQs Ensure effective manpower planning and task allocation on a regular basis Take independent responsibility for project execution including labour staff contractors and client coordination Ensure project deliverables are achieved without unnecessary delays through continuous follow-up Site Technical Management Act as the key technical advisor to contractors subcontractors supervisors and site operatives Verify plans drawings calculations and raise non-conformance issues with concerned departments Ensure materials used and work executed meet approved specifications and quality standards Verify quantity and quality of raw materials received at site Ensure collection and maintenance of material test certificates from vendors Material Store Management Prepare monthly material requirement plans and obtain approvals Conduct stage-wise material reconciliation within defined timelines Verify contractor material reconciliation statements and attach them with bills Monitor day-to-day store functions and oversee stock movement including Inventory management Over under stock utilization Aging control Theft and wastage prevention Billing BOQ Cost Control Verify and submit contractor bills to concerned departments in a timely manner Review BOQ vs consumption on a monthly and stage-wise basis Ensure cost optimization through efficient resource utilization and costing analysis Prepare monthly budgeting forecasting and cost control reports aligned with project milestones Coordination Reporting Conduct weekly and monthly coordination meetings with management and cross-functional teams Conduct monthly contractor review meetings to assess progress and resolve issues Establish and promote a strong meeting culture across departments Collaborate with construction purchase stores finance HR legal and operations teams for seamless execution Quality Safety Compliance Ensure adherence to company HSE standards and develop a trained safety-conscious team Close all internal and external audit findings and OFIs Opportunities for Improvement Identify project risks and implement mitigation measures through hindrance tracking Team Leadership Development Roll out manpower planning across departments and ensure adequate staffing Select train mentor and review site teams at regular intervals Conduct toolbox talks and promote a culture of continuous improvement Foster a collaborative high-performance work environment Commercial Vendor Management Conduct market research and benchmarking to support better project decisions Identify evaluate onboard and manage vendors suppliers consultants and agencies Negotiate contracts with vendors to achieve cost efficiency and quality outcomes Make data-driven decisions to maximize project profitability Other Responsibilities Perform any other duties as assigned by management from time to time Required Abilities Competencies High integrity honesty and ethical conduct Professional appearance behavior and communication Self-motivated with strong initiative Positive attitude even in challenging situations Solid problem-solving and decision-making skills Ability to anticipate issues and act proactively Courteous and respectful towards staff and stakeholders Strict adherence to company policies and procedures How to Apply For further discussion interested candidates may share their profile at (phone hidden) Job Type Full-time Pay 70 000 00 - 80 000 00 per month Work Location In person
