Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer with robust project management and vendor coordination capabilities. The ideal candidate will have nearly a decade of experience in engineering and project execution roles, with proven people management skills and the ability to drive projects from conception to completion.

Responsibilities

- Lead and manage mechanical engineering projects from planning through execution and handover.

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including design, procurement, and operations to ensure project success.

- Manage and mentor a team of engineers and technical staff, providing guidance and performance oversight.

- Oversee vendor selection, contract negotiation, and performance management to ensure quality deliverables.

- Review technical specifications, drawings, and project documentation for accuracy and compliance.

- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to meet organizational objectives.

- Conduct site visits and inspections to assess project progress and resolve technical challenges.

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver optimal engineering solutions.

- Ensure adherence to safety standards, quality protocols, and regulatory requirements.





- Prepare project reports, status updates, and presentations for senior management.

- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance project efficiency and team productivity.

Required Qualifications

- Education: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.

- Experience: 9-10 years of progressive experience in mechanical engineering and project management roles, with demonstrated expertise in handling complex projects.

- People Management: Proven experience leading and managing engineering teams, including mentoring, performance management, and team development.

- Vendor Management: Strong track record in vendor identification, evaluation, negotiation, and relationship management to ensure timely and quality project delivery.

- Location: Candidates residing near STCB or willing to relocate are strongly preferred for operational convenience.
