Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Project Manager – Interior Fit-Out role based in Chennai. The role involves overseeing interior fit-out projects from initiation to handover, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating design, procurement, and site execution.

The Project

Manager will lead project teams, manage subcontractors and vendors, and ensure work is completed to specification, on time, and within budget. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring progress, conducting site inspections, resolving issues, and maintaining safety and quality standards.



The role also requires regular communication with clients, preparation of project reports, and alignment of project outcomes with agreed design and performance expectations.

Qualifications

- Strong project management skills, including experience in planning, execution, and monitoring of interior fit-out projects (Project Management; PMP certification preferred).
- Hands-on experience in expediting project activities, coordinating with suppliers, and managing timelines (Expeditor; Expediting).
- Proficiency in inspection and quality control processes to ensure adherence to design, safety, and regulatory standards (Inspection).
- Knowledge of logistics management related to material movement, site deliveries, and resource allocation (Logistics Management).
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Ability to interpret drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications, with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams on site.
- Experience in commercial or workplace interior projects and familiarity with health, safety, and environmental practices.
