Job Purpose To lead the complete planning, execution, commissioning, and stabilization of the Malt Plant by ensuring the project is completed safely, within the approved budget, within the stipulated timeline, and in compliance with all statutory, environmental, and quality requirements.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Project Planning & Execution

- Lead the complete Greenfield/Brownfield Malt Plant project from concept to commercial production.
- Prepare the overall project execution strategy and implementation roadmap.
- Develop detailed project schedules and milestone plans.
- Ensure project completion within approved timelines and budget.
- Coordinate all project activities with internal and external stakeholders.

1. Engineering & Design

- Review plant layout, process flow diagrams (PFD), and P&IDs.;
- Coordinate civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and utility engineering.
- Review equipment specifications and technical drawings.
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards and statutory norms.

1. Vendor & Contractor Management

- Identify and evaluate technology suppliers, equipment manufacturers, and contractors.
- Participate in technical and commercial evaluations.
- Monitor contractor performance and work quality.
- Verify contractor bills and work completion certificates.
- Resolve technical and contractual issues.

1. Civil Construction Management

- Supervise civil construction activities.
- Ensure quality of foundations, buildings, silos, warehouses, utility blocks, and drainage systems.
- Monitor project progress against approved schedules.
- Ensure compliance with structural and safety standards.

1. Mechanical Installation

- Supervise installation of malt processing equipment.
- Coordinate erection of conveyors, elevators, kilns, germination vessels, steeping tanks, cleaning systems, storage silos, piping, and utilities.




- Ensure proper alignment, testing, and commissioning.

1. Electrical & Instrumentation

- Coordinate installation of electrical panels, transformers, MCCs, cables, PLCs, SCADA systems, and automation.
- Ensure successful loop checking, calibration, and commissioning.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with applicable standards.

1. Utilities Management

- Ensure timely installation and commissioning of:

- Boiler
- Air Compressor
- Chilling System
- Water Treatment Plant
- RO Plant
- Softener Plant
- DG Sets
- Steam Distribution System
- Compressed Air System
- Fire Hydrant System

1. Statutory Compliance

- Coordinate approvals related to:

- Factory Licence
- Pollution Control Board
- Fire Department NOC
- Boiler Inspectorate
- Electrical Inspectorate
- PESO (where applicable)
- Building Plan Approvals
- Environmental Clearances

- Ensure statutory compliance before commissioning.

1. Budget & Cost Control

- Prepare project budgets and cash-flow plans.
- Monitor project expenditure.
- Control cost overruns through value engineering.
- Submit periodic cost reports to management.

1. Quality Assurance

- Ensure all work complies with approved drawings and specifications.
- Conduct quality inspections and stage-wise approvals.
- Ensure material quality verification before installation.
- Coordinate third-party inspections where required.

1. Health, Safety & Setting (HSE)

- Ensure zero major accidents during project execution.
- Enforce PPE usage and safe work practices.
- Conduct safety meetings and toolbox talks.
- Ensure permit-to-work compliance.
- Coordinate emergency preparedness and response.

1. Project Monitoring & Reporting

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly project progress reports.
- Monitor milestone achievement.
- Conduct review meetings with management.
- Present project status, risks, and mitigation plans.

1. Testing & Commissioning

- Lead pre-com
