Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Project Engineer role based in Ahmedabad.

The Project

Engineer will oversee rainwater harvesting projects from planning through execution, including site assessment, design support, and coordination with internal teams and external contractors. Daily responsibilities include preparing technical drawings and documentation, monitoring project progress, ensuring adherence to quality standards, and resolving technical issues that arise in office. The role also involves conducting inspections, optimizing installation processes for efficiency and safety, and providing technical guidance to clients and implementation teams.

Engineer will collaborate closely with the operations and product teams to ensure that solutions remain simple, cost-effective, and aligned with the company’s sustainability goals.

Qualifications

- Strong technical skills in civil or environmental engineering, with experience in water management, rainwater harvesting, or related infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in project planning and execution, including scheduling, resource allocation, and on-site coordination.
- Ability to read and create technical drawings and documentation using relevant tools (e.g., AutoCAD or similar software).
- Competence in data analysis and report writing to document project status, performance, and outcomes.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams, clients, and contractors.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with a focus on practical, sustainable, and cost-effective solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Prior experience in construction, infrastructure, or environmental projects is preferred; exposure to rainwater harvesting or water conservation initiatives is an advantage.
- Willingness to work on-site in Ahmedabad and conduct regular field visits as required by project needs.
