ICMR-NIN, Hyderabad, India Project Consultant (Microbiologist) Position from eligible and interested candidates

About- Applications are invited from eligible candidates by speed post for the following position under the project entitled “ Efficacy of peanut-pear/ millet bar supplementation on gut modulation and Iron status among anaemic adolescent girls — An Quasi-Experimental Study

” funded by ICR/SAT at this Institute. The last date for receiving applications will be 21 days from the date of uploading the advertisement in ICMR-NIN and ICMR websites or as applications received after the due date will not be considered under any circumstances. Eligibility/Qualification– Essential Qualifications Qualified with MD or Ph.D in Life Science subject and published papers OR Retired Government employee with requisite educational qualifications drawing pay in PB-3:



Rs.15600-39100 plus GP of Rs.6600/- at the time of retirement and having adequate working experience in the required domain/field.

Desirable Five years of research experience after obtaining Ph.D Experience in gut microbiota work and handling of next-generation sequencing data Age Not exceeding 70 years

1. Handling all project-related work on gut microbiota.

- Data analysis, interpretation, manuscript writing Cons. Salary Rs. 1,00,00/- per month fixed without any other allowances. Tenure 1 year Place of work ICMR-NIN, Hyderabad.

The above position(s)/post(s) are on temporary contract basis. How To Apply- The candidates have to download the application form from www.nin.res.in and fill in his/her own handwriting and may be sent by speed post to The Director, ICMR-National Institute of Nutrition, Jamai Osmania Post, Tarnaka, Hyderabad — 500 007, Telangana State duly superscribing the Post. Sl.No, Name of the Post and Category alongwith self-attested copies of requisite supporting documents of essential qualifications, etc.

After verification of the applications, the names of eligible candidates will be displayed on the official website www.nin.res.in for online interviews. Based on the Selection Committee’s decision, the applications will be shortlisted and the link will be sent to the shortlisted candidates for online Interviews through Video call/ Video-Conferencing.



The candidates have to make their own arrangements for Video Call/ Video-Conferencing.
