The Program Manager is accountable for planning, executing, and delivering strategic programs across multiple projects, regions, and stakeholders. The role ensures alignment with organizational objectives by driving program governance, operational efficiency, stakeholder engagement, and business value realization.
Key Accountabilities 1.
Program
Leadership & Execution Lead end-to-end delivery of complex, multi-workstream programs
Define program scope, objectives, milestones, and success criteria
Ensure delivery against time, cost, and quality commitments
Monitor program performance using KPIs and dashboards
- Governance & Compliance Establish and enforce program governance frameworks (RAG status, milestones, reporting cadence)
Ensure adherence to PMO standards, methodologies, and controls
Maintain documentation, decision logs, and audit readiness

Stakeholder Management
Engage and influence senior stakeholders, business leaders, and clients
Provide clear, concise executive-level communication and reporting
Manage expectations, resolve conflicts, and drive alignment
- Financial & Resource Oversight Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial tracking
Drive cost optimization and efficiency initiatives
Oversee resource planning, allocation, and utilization across programs
- Risk & Issue Management Identify, assess, and mitigate program-level risks and issues
Maintain RAID logs and ensure timely resolution/escalation
Implement mitigation and contingency strategies

Strategic Planning
Translate business strategy into program roadmaps and execution plans
Identify dependencies and ensure cross-functional alignment
Lead transformation, transition, and change management initiatives

People
Management & Capability Building Lead, mentor, and develop Project Managers and PMO resources
Drive performance management, coaching, and succession planning
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
8.
Process
Improvement & Innovation Drive standardization and continuous improvement of PMO processes and tools
Promote automation, efficiency,
and best practices across programs
Support PMO maturity and capability development initiatives
Certifications • PMP / PRINCE2 Experience Qualifications 8–12+ years of experience in program/project management
Proven track record in delivering large-scale, cross-functional programs
Experience working in global, matrixed organizations
Strong exposure to stakeholder management and transformation initiatives
