Production Head – Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka

Employment Type: Full-Time | On-Site About the Role Digital Circuits Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Production Head to lead and oversee all manufacturing operations across its Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) facility. The ideal candidate will have 20+ years of experience in electronics manufacturing, with solid expertise in production management, operational excellence, process optimization, people leadership, and cross-functional coordination.

The Production

Head will be responsible for driving manufacturing efficiency, ensuring on-time delivery, maintaining quality and safety standards, optimizing costs, and building a high-performance manufacturing culture that supports the company's growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end plant operations across SMT, PCB Assembly, Box Build, Cable & Wire Harnessing, and System Integration.

Develop and execute production plans to ensure timely delivery while meeting quality and cost objectives.

Drive operational excellence initiatives focused on improving productivity, capacity utilization, OEE, and manufacturing efficiency.

Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, statutory requirements, and company policies.

Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Planning, Procurement, and Sales teams to ensure seamless production execution.

Monitor and optimize production KPIs including throughput, cycle time, machine utilization, rejection rates, and on-time delivery.

Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and other operational excellence methodologies.

Oversee manpower planning, workforce productivity, training, and employee engagement across the manufacturing facility.

Ensure effective inventory control, material availability, and production scheduling to minimize downtime.





Drive cost reduction initiatives through process improvements, waste reduction, and efficient resource utilization.

Lead customer visits, audits, and operational reviews while ensuring world-class manufacturing practices.

Mentor and develop production managers, supervisors, and plant personnel to build a high-performing team.

Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related field).

20+ years of experience in the Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) industry.

Minimum 5+ years of experience in a senior manufacturing or plant leadership role.

MBA or additional certifications in Operations Management are preferred.

Required Skills Strong understanding of EMS manufacturing processes including SMT, PCB Assembly, Box Build, Cable & Wire Harnessing, and System Integration.

Proven experience in production planning, manufacturing operations, and capacity management.

Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, TPM, and continuous improvement methodologies.

Experience managing large cross-functional manufacturing teams.

Excellent understanding of production planning, inventory management, supply chain coordination, and cost optimization.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and leadership skills.

Experience with ERP/MRP systems and manufacturing dashboards.

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and customer interaction skills.
