Profile - Production Engineer (Expert on Injection molding machine)

Role & responsibilities: The key responsibilities of the role include:

- Plan and coordinate production on daily basis to achieve production as per standard cycle time
- Develop process improvements to effectively utilize machines and material to maximize production
- Identify unsafe operations and practices and report same for immediate corrective action
- Perform engineering analysis to reduce down time
- Provide support to Maintenance activities to ensure maximum production
- Ensure proper housekeeping on shop floor
- Track daily shift wise production and analyse any deviance and report with accuracy within agreed timelines
- Provide training and guidance to team members to accomplish production goals
- Develop best practise to improve production capacity, quality and reliability
- Set Moulding process parameters to ensure product meets dimensional and quality requirements




- Perform mold set up and color changes to meet production demands as needed.
- Troubleshoot mold processes, machines, make necessary changes to ensure quality and reduce downtime
- Provide technical assistance to Moulding technicians and operators
- Train and develop Moulding personnel relative to the Moulding process (Process technicians and Moulding operators)

Preferred candidate profile

1. Qualification - CIPET Plastic processing / BE Mechanical
2. Experience - 5 7 years relevant experience in Plastic industry / Injection molding production process

3. Experience in Plastic Processing
4. Knowledge about SAP is a MUST
5. Exposure of working in a similar role in Manufacturing Industries is preferable
