Job Summary The Production & Quality Engineer will be responsible for overseeing daily production activities, ensuring product quality, improving manufacturing efficiency, and maintaining quality standards in cutting tool manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and control daily production activities to achieve production targets.
- Conduct in-process and final quality inspections using measuring instruments.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Identify and resolve production and quality issues through root cause analysis.
- Maintain production and quality records, inspection reports, and documentation.
- Implement 5S,
Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate with production, maintenance, and quality teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Preparation of Production Reports Daily/ weekly / Monthly
- Handling quality related problems of production lines and taking corrective action
- Handling & Rectification of Machine problems on production lines
- ERP management
Qualification
- Diploma OR ITI in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Experience
- 1 to 5 years of experience in cutting tool, CNC machining, or precision manufacturing industry.
Skills Required
- Knowledge of production and quality processes.
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments.
- Understanding of engineering drawings and quality standards.
- Valuable problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
