Product Research & Operations Intern

? Chennai (In office)

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving real-world problems.

You'll work directly with the founders to research, test, and improve products while also helping streamline operations as PLATEP grows.

What You'll Do

Product Research & Development





- Research new packaging solutions for different meal plans.
- Explore packaging materials, suppliers, and costs.
- Study how fresh-cut vegetables and ingredients can be packed efficiently.
- Conduct field visits, market research, and competitor analysis.
- Test ideas and validate them through practical experiments.
- Support future product development initiatives.

Operation & Process Building

- Coordinate daily kitchen, packaging, and logistics activities.
- Work alongside the operations team to improve workflows.
- Help document and build scalable operating procedures.
- Assist in creating systems that support business growth.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and suggest improvements.

We're Looking For

- Curious and analytical mindset.
- Comfortable doing both desk research and field work.
- Willingness to visit vendors, markets, and suppliers.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Someone who enjoys building systems from scratch.
