Whats the Role?

We are looking for a driven Localization / Regional PM to bridge global product strategy with local market realities. You will own the product experience for one or more regional markets, working directly with local teams to gather requirements, manage regional backlogs, and ensure every local deployment stays coherent with the core platform. You will be the primary product voice for your region — the person who knows both the customer and the product inside out.

Responsibilities/ Duties

1. Own Regional Product Delivery:

- Maintain a prioritised regional backlog that reflects local customer needs, regulatory requirements, and partner commitments.
- Own the end-to-end product experience for assigned market(s), from requirements intake through delivery and post-launch review.
- Act as the primary escalation point for local teams when product gaps or blockers arise.

1. Collaborate with VP of Product:

- Identify features common across 2+ regional markets and escalate them to the Product Team for the shared roadmap — this is a governance rule, not a judgment call.
- Ensure local versions remain architecturally aligned with the core platform; avoid one-off builds that create long-term maintenance debt.
- Participate in cross-PM syncs, handoff reviews, and the AI PM Orchestrator-led documentation workflows.

1. Gather and Document Market Requirements:

- Conduct discovery sessions with regional customers, sales, and support teams to identify local pain points.
- Translate market insights into clear, actionable functional specifications that regional engineering teams can act on independently.
- Monitor local regulatory developments and assess their impact on the product roadmap proactively.

1. Drive Execution Locally:

- Lead regional product sprints in coordination with local engineering teams and the broader product organisation.
- Monitor delivery progress, identify risks early, and adjust priorities in response to market signals.

- Develop a clear roadmap for AI features aligned with customer pain points and business goals.

1. Measure Regional Impact:

- Define success metrics for regional features (e.g., regional adoption rate, local NPS, compliance adherence, reduction in one-off support requests).
- Track and report on regional backlog health: escalation rate to Core PM, stale ticket rate, sprint velocity.

1. Maintain Documentation & Tooling Hygiene:

- Keep Confluence pages for all active regional initiatives up to date — requirements, decision logs, and status updates — in line with AI PM Orchestrator templates.
- Keep Jira tickets correctly tagged, prioritised, and routed per the PM organisation's governance rules.

Criteria for the Role!

- Experience: 3–6 years as a Product Manager, with at least 2 years carrying direct regional or customer-specific responsibility.
- Platform Awareness: Familiarity with multi-tenant or multi-version SaaS platforms; ability to navigate the tension between local customisation and platform coherence.
- Domain Knowledge: Experience in a B2B SaaS environment; supply chain, logistics, freight, or trade tech background is a strong advantage.
- Communication Skills: Strong written communication — you produce specifications, decision logs, and stakeholder updates that engineering and business teams act on directly.
- Prioritisation Fluency: Comfortable applying frameworks (RICE, MoSCoW, value/effort) to make trade-off decisions transparently across competing regional tasks.
- Tooling: Fluency in Jira and Confluence; able to maintain clean project hygiene without being prompted.
- Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to manage across time zones, cultures, and functions — local teams, core engineering, and leadership will all have competing task.
- Technical Fluency: Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts (e.g., supervised learning, data pipelines, model evaluation, LLM) is a robust advantage
- Customer-Centric Mindset: Proven ability to identify customer pain points and translate them into impactful solutions.
- Analytical Skills: Comfortable working with data to make decisions and measure impact.
