Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Product Manager IT Hardware role based in Chennai.

The Product

Manager will oversee the lifecycle of IT hardware solutions, including product planning, portfolio management, and go-to-market activities across end computing, AV, VC, mobility, data center, and security hardware. Daily responsibilities include conducting market and competitor analysis, defining product requirements, coordinating with OEMs and vendors, and collaborating with sales and pre-sales teams to develop proposals and solution bundles. The role involves working closely with procurement, operations,



and project teams to ensure timely delivery, cost optimization, and quality standards for hardware deployments.

The Product

Manager will monitor product performance, gather customer feedback, support tender responses, and provide technical and commercial inputs to drive growth in government, banking, PSU, and enterprise segments.

Qualifications

- Strong product management skills in IT hardware, including portfolio planning, requirements definition, and lifecycle management.
- Technical knowledge of end computing devices, AV/VC equipment, mobility solutions, IT peripherals, data center hardware, cloud infrastructure, surveillance, and security systems.
- Experience in solution design and integration for large ICT projects, preferably in government, railways, smart cities, or enterprise environments.
- Ability to perform market research, competitor analysis, pricing strategies, and commercial evaluation for hardware products.
- Proficiency in cross-functional collaboration with sales, pre-sales, procurement, operations, and project delivery teams.
- Familiarity with tender processes, RFP/RFQ responses, and documentation for public sector and large enterprise opportunities.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with attention to detail and quality.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
