This position will be responsible for selecting and contracting the suppliers in support of spot buy transactions to ensure fair value on the purchase and savings to the client.

Procurement

Operations involve the process of acquiring goods and services that a business needs to operate. This includes identifying needs, selecting suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing purchase orders. The goal is to obtain quality products at the best possible prices while ensuring timely delivery.

Effective procurement operations help control costs, maintain supply chain efficiency, and support overall business objectives. They are essential for the smooth functioning of any organization. A systematic approach used for buying all the goods and services needed for a particular project or for the company generally to stay sustainable.

It consists of: the identification of need; finding and qualifying the suppliers; requesting proposals, negotiating with suppliers, contracting, delivery and analyzing results; and contract close.



What are we looking for? We are looking for individuals who have the following skillset: Graduation or Post-Graduation with 3-4 years of prior procurement experience

Good communication and presentation skills.

Strong understanding of latest Microsoft Office applications i.e. Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Ariba

Good understanding of Ariba & SAP platform

Flexibility to work in any shift

Flexible to relocate Job location

Minimum of 3-4 Years Work

Experience in PO creation and overall P2P practices

Experience in Oil & Gas or Power Sector Industry preferred

Any degree from Universities

Engineering with Mechanical or Electronics preferred Roles and Responsibilities: Roles and Responsibilities

Meet service levels as agreed with the client on TAT & Accuracy

Ensure quality of the process is upheld at all times

Propose process improvement ideas and lead improvement project till closure

Understanding of Operational Excellence practices and driving the behavior on the floor is required

Ensure SLAs pertaining to TAT and Quality are maintained as per agreed service levels

Ensure productivity of the team is achieved on a consistent basis

Ensure all issues and escalations are tracked, monitored & reported as per the frequent intervals set

Ensure all escalations are addressed on the same day and action taken is communicated to the parties concerned

Ensure all exception folders are monitored and aged documents are managed. Overall the aging of documents should not be more than 3 business days at any given point in time

Ensure to coordinate all Audits conducted and also make sure that data is provided at any given point of time

Proactively escalate issues and bring it to immediate supervisor attention

Ensure all reports are updated and reviewed on a day to day basis and all folders/ trackers are maintained

Participate on client meetings and provide information to Manager whenever is required

Ensure VM Board is updated and the metrics are used to drive the behavior on the floor

Involve in preparing SLA reports and client presentations
