Unmannd Autonomy is building next-generation autonomous drone systems for defence and enterprise applications. We are looking for a proactive individual who can efficiently manage procurement and inventory operations in a fast-paced startup environment.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Procurement & Inventory Executive to manage end-to-end sourcing, purchasing, inventory control, and material planning for our drone manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate should ensure timely availability of materials, maintain inventory accuracy, and coordinate closely with engineering, production, and finance teams to support uninterrupted manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement

- Manage end-to-end procurement of mechanical, electrical, electronics, and manufacturing components.
- Source and evaluate new vendors based on quality, cost, delivery timelines, and reliability.
- Obtain quotations, negotiate pricing and commercial terms, and finalize purchase orders.
- Track purchase orders and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely deliveries.
- Build and maintain robust relationships with suppliers.
- Resolve vendor issues related to quality, shortages, pricing, and delayed deliveries.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality standards.

Inventory Management

- Maintain accurate inventory records for raw materials, components, consumables, and finished goods.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment to avoid production delays.
- Coordinate inward and outward material movement with stores and production teams.




- Perform periodic inventory audits and stock reconciliation.
- Track material consumption and generate inventory reports.
- Ensure proper storage, material identification, and inventory accuracy.
- Minimize excess, obsolete, and slow-moving inventory.

Cross-Functional Coordination

- Work closely with Engineering, Production, Quality, Finance, and Stores teams to align procurement with production schedules.
- Support material planning based on project and production requirements.
- Maintain procurement and inventory documentation in ERP/Excel.
- Continuously improve procurement and inventory processes.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, Operations, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in Procurement, Inventory Management, Stores, or Supply Chain.
- Experience in Defence, Aerospace, Drone, Electronics Manufacturing, Robotics, or Automotive industries is highly preferred.
- Good understanding of inventory control, vendor management, and procurement processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/Inventory Management systems.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills.
