Position Summary: We are seeking a energetic and result-oriented Procurement in Charge to oversee the procurement of high-quality goods and materials in Tanzania. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring timely delivery at minimum cost.

Key Requirements

- 7 years' experience in purchasing

- Procurement skills
- Strong analytical and statistical skills
- Honesty, diligence, and trustworthiness
- Ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision
- Negotiation skills
- Reporting skills
- A sense of urgency
- Problem-solving skills

Key Duties:

- Receive approved requisitions and dispatch LPOs as needed
- Procure proforma invoices/quotations when necessary




- Ensure products and services are as per specifications and obtained at the best prices
- Coordinate the receiving of goods and ensure quality confirmation
- Prepare GRNs and forward to accounts for payment processing
- Generate weekly reports on outstanding items and requisitions
- Follow up on delayed deliveries and consult user departments if needed
- Monitor supplier performance and recommend alternatives when necessary
- Summarize achievements in price reduction and product quality for management review
