Pricing Analyst

About the Role

We are looking for a highly analytical and motivated Pricing Analyst to join our Commercial team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to build a career in pricing, ocean carrier management, and commercial analytics within the global freight forwarding industry.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting pricing strategies by managing ocean carrier relationships, analyzing market trends, generating commercial insights, and contributing to customer bids and tenders. The role is best suited for individuals who enjoy working with data, possess strong analytical abilities, and have a keen interest in commercial decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

- Support Ocean Carrier Management by coordinating with shipping lines for freight rates and commercial negotiations.
- Assist in ocean carrier negotiations to obtain competitive pricing and service offerings.
- Collect, analyze, and maintain market intelligence and competitor information to support pricing decisions.
- Prepare and generate MIS reports, pricing analysis, and commercial dashboards using Microsoft Excel.
- Participate in customer Bids, RFQs, and RFPs by preparing competitive pricing proposals.
- Maintain carrier tariffs, pricing databases, and commercial records with high accuracy.
- Monitor freight market trends and recommend competitive pricing strategies.
- Work closely with Sales, Commercial, and Operations teams to deliver timely pricing solutions.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely completion of pricing-related activities.

Eligibility Criteria

- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.




- Fresh graduates with strong analytical aptitude or candidates with up to 2 years of relevant experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong analytical thinking, logical reasoning, and problem-solving abilities.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, Formulas, Data Analysis).
- High attention to detail with the ability to interpret and analyze large volumes of data.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn.

Preferred Skills

- Knowledge of Freight Forwarding, Shipping, Logistics, Supply Chain, or International Trade will be an added advantage.
- Working knowledge of German or French will be an added advantage.
