Role Description The Pre-primary Teacher is a full-time, in office role based in Varthur (Balagere Main Road), Bengaluru. This role involves planning and delivering developmentally appropriate lessons and activities that align with the school’s play-based and inquiry-led philosophy.

The teacher will facilitate learning through storytelling, games, art, music, and movement, while supporting children’s social-emotional growth and positive behavior. Daily responsibilities include observing and documenting child progress, maintaining a safe and nurturing classroom environment,



and communicating regularly with families about their child’s learning and wellbeing. The teacher will collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning, participate in staff meetings and training, and contribute to school events and celebrations.

Qualifications

- Ability to design and implement age-appropriate learning plans, demonstrating skills in Curriculum Development and Education.
- Strong classroom facilitation skills, including Teaching and Elementary Education experience with pre-primary or early childhood learners.
- Effective Communication skills to engage children, collaborate with colleagues, and build positive relationships with families.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or a related field.
- Prior experience working in a preschool, kindergarten, or daycare setting is highly beneficial.
- Patience, empathy, and a child-centered mindset, with the ability to manage small groups and diverse learning needs.
- Basic understanding of child safety, hygiene, and classroom management best practices.
- Willingness to participate in ongoing career development and uphold the school’s values and policies.
