Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Power Press Head to lead and manage the Power Press Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing production operations, ensuring optimum machine utilization, maintaining quality standards, improving productivity, and ensuring compliance with safety and manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and supervise all operations of the Power Press Department.
- Plan and monitor daily production schedules to achieve production targets.
- Ensure optimum utilization of power press machines, dies, and manpower.
- Coordinate with Production Planning, Tool Room, Quality, and Maintenance teams for smooth operations.
- Monitor production output, rejection rates, downtime, and overall equipment efficiency (OEE).
- Ensure proper die setting, machine setup, and process optimization.
- Implement preventive maintenance schedules for machines and tooling.
- Maintain product quality by ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce manufacturing costs.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, 5S, and workplace discipline.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate supervisors, operators, and helpers.
- Analyze production reports and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.
- Monitor raw material consumption and minimize process wastage.




- Support new product development and trial production activities.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards and company manufacturing procedures.

Required Qualifications Diploma/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Experience

- 5–10 years of experience in Power Press operations.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Supervisor or Incharge in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in sheet metal component manufacturing, die setting, or press shop operations will be preferred.

Required Skills

- 8–12 years of experience in Power Press operations, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic power press machines.
- Hands-on experience in die setting, tooling, sheet metal processes, and production planning.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and TPM will be an added advantage.
- Valuable leadership, problem-solving, and team management skills.
