Role Description The POS Software Specialist | Pet Pooja is a full-time, on-site role based in North Goa. This role is responsible for configuring, maintaining, and optimizing the POS software used across Artjuna locations, ensuring smooth daily operations for ordering, billing, and inventory management. The specialist will handle software updates, troubleshoot technical issues, coordinate with vendors or developers, and support cafe staff with training and best practices.

Daily tasks include monitoring system performance, managing user accounts and permissions, maintaining data accuracy, and documenting processes.



The role collaborates closely with operations and finance teams to streamline workflows and improve the overall efficiency of the POS ecosystem.

Reporting to: IT Head Qualifications

Candidates should possess skills in Software Development and Software Design to configure, customize, and improve POS system functionality.

Candidates should possess Programming skills to create scripts, integrations, or automation related to POS operations.

Candidates should possess Databases skills to manage, query, and maintain POS-related data with accuracy and security.

Candidates should possess Testing skills to validate updates, current features, and integrations before deployment.

Experience with POS platforms, retail or hospitality systems, and basic networking concepts is beneficial.

Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to work effectively in a fast-paced cafe environment are required.

Good communication skills and the ability to train and support non-technical team members are important.

A relevant diploma or degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is preferred.
