Responsibilities

- Role Overview
- The Project Management Head will be responsible for leading and driving all project initiatives including current product development, customer projects, and strategic initiatives. The role demands strong leadership in planning, execution, and monitoring of projects to ensure timely delivery, cost efficiency, and alignment with business goals.

- Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Project Management Office (PMO) and establish standardized project governance processes across the organization.
- Drive end-to-end execution of customer and internal projects including design, development, validation, and delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D;, Production, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, Sales & Marketing) to ensure smooth execution of projects.
- Act as the single point of contact for OEM customers for project status, delivery schedules, and escalation management.
- Develop project roadmaps, timelines, and key milestones aligned with business strategy.
- Ensure projects meet defined quality, cost, and delivery (QCD) targets.




- Risk assessment and mitigation planning for ongoing and future projects.
- Resource allocation, team development, and mentoring of project managers.
- Establish and monitor KPIs, reporting progress to senior leadership and customers.
- Drive continuous improvement in project management methodologies and tools.
- Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, components, and customer requirements.
- Expertise in project management methodologies (Agile, Stage-Gate, APQP, PPAP).
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making ability.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer-focused mindset with negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Automobile/Industrial). Master’s in Management (preferred).
- 15+ years of experience in automotive project management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of handling OEM projects (domestic & global).
- PMP / Prince2 certification preferred.
