Role Description This is a full-time remote role for an MEP Drafting professional. The role involves preparing detailed MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) drawings and layouts based on project specifications, design inputs, and relevant codes. The MEP Drafter will coordinate with engineers and project managers to update plans, incorporate design changes, and ensure accurate documentation of plumbing, sanitation, and firefighting systems.

Daily responsibilities include reviewing design documents, creating and revising CAD drawings, maintaining drawing standards,



and supporting the submission of technical documentation. The role also includes collaborating with cross-functional teams through online meetings, ensuring timely delivery of drawings and clear communication with on-site project teams.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess robust CAD drafting skills, including proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design software for MEP layouts.

Candidates should possess knowledge of plumbing, sanitation, and firefighting systems, including relevant standards and building codes.

Candidates should possess skills in reading and interpreting architectural and engineering drawings, technical specifications, and project documents.

Candidates should possess abilities in coordination and communication with engineers, project managers, and site teams in a remote work environment.

Candidates should possess attention to detail, accuracy in documentation, and strong organizational skills for managing multiple drawing revisions.

Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field is preferred.

Experience in MEP drafting for residential, commercial, or industrial projects will be considered an advantage.

Familiarity with national and local building regulations and safety standards related to MEP works is beneficial.
