PLC Test Engineer Experience: 6–10 Years Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Mechatronics / M.Sc. in Electronics or Electrical Technical SkillsMandatory Skills Strong experience in PLC programming using Ladder Logic, Structured Text (ST), and Function Block Diagram (FBD). Hands-on expertise in configuring and commissioning Servo Drives, VFDs, and Inverters.
Experience developing and testing Motion Control applications for servo-based systems using PLCs. Knowledge of robotics programming, including multi-axis control and drive group configuration. Proven experience in machine automation, commissioning, and turnkey project execution. Exposure to Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) activities. Practical experience with industrial communication protocols such as:
EtherNet/IP PROFINET EtherCAT Ethernet PowerLINK CAN PROFIBUS ControlNET DeviceNET Experience configuring PLC local/backplane I/O and remote I/O over Fieldbus networks.
Preferred Skills Knowledge of electrical control panel wiring and design.
Experience in manual/system testing of automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and execute system-level test cases for industrial automation solutions. Perform testing, identify defects, and ensure quality standards are met. Support automation project commissioning and testing activities, including FAT and SAT. Follow defined testing methodologies, quality processes, and project guidelines established by the Lead/Manager.
