The Plant Head is responsible for end-to-end operations of the solar panel manufacturing facility including production, quality, maintenance, supply chain coordination, cost optimization, manpower productivity, EHS compliance, and manufacturing excellence.

Key Responsibilities
1. Plant Operations Management
- Lead overall manufacturing operations of solar module plant
- Ensure achievement of daily, monthly, and annual production targets
- Monitor line utilization and production efficiency
- Drive capacity utilization improvements
- Ensure smooth coordination across production shifts
- Minimize downtime and bottlenecks
2. Production Planning & Control
- Coordinate with PPC team for production scheduling
- Ensure adherence to production plans
- Balance manpower, machine, and material availability
- Monitor WIP and finished goods inventory
- Improve production cycle time
3. Manufacturing Excellence
- Implement Lean Manufacturing practices
- Drive Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives
- Improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)
- Reduce rejection, rework, and wastage
- Improve plant productivity and throughput
4. Quality Management
- Ensure adherence to module manufacturing quality standards
- Monitor EL test, flash test, hi-pot test, and QC checkpoints
- Reduce customer complaints and field failures
- Ensure compliance with BIS, IEC, and ISO standards
- Coordinate with QA/QC teams for audits
5. Maintenance & Engineering
- Ensure preventive and predictive maintenance implementation
- Reduce machine breakdowns and downtime
- Coordinate with engineering team for machine upgrades
- Improve equipment reliability
- Ensure spare parts availability
6. Supply Chain & Inventory Coordination
- Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams
- Ensure availability of

- Lead production managers, engineers, supervisors, and operators
- Build high-performance manufacturing culture
- Conduct manpower planning
- Drive employee productivity and discipline
- Train teams on SOPs and quality standards
9. Cost Control
- Optimize manufacturing cost per watt
- Monitor power consumption and utility efficiency
