Role Description The PHP Web Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications that power Criclive.in’s live commentary, news, and fan interaction features. Day-to-day tasks include writing clean and efficient PHP code, integrating front-end components with back-end logic, optimizing application performance, and troubleshooting technical issues.

The role also involves collaborating with content, design, and product teams to implement recent features, ensure smooth user experiences,



and maintain site reliability during high-traffic events. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Janakpuri, requiring consistent presence and close coordination with the local team.

Qualifications

- Strong Back-End Web Development skills with PHP and related frameworks, and experience working with databases and APIs.
- Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and solid understanding of software development principles and best practices.
- Competence in Front-End Development, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design techniques.
- Demonstrated Programming skills with the ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
- Ability to debug, test, and optimize web applications for performance, scalability, and security.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Interest in cricket and digital media is an advantage, along with experience working on high-traffic or real-time web platforms.
