Key Responsibilities

- Design comprehensive plumbing systems, including water supply, drainage, waste, and vent systems, for multi-storied buildings.

- Create detailed plumbing layouts, schematics, and specifications using AutoCAD and other relevant software.

- Ensure compliance with local codes, standards, and safety regulations.

- Coordinate with other MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) engineers, architects, and project stakeholders to integrate plumbing systems seamlessly into overall project designs.

- Perform hydraulic calculations for pipe sizing, pump selection, and water pressure.

- Prepare bill of materials (BOM) and technical reports.

- Review and approve contractor/shop drawings, and provide technical support during construction phases.

- Conduct site visits to ensure designs are being implemented according to plans and to troubleshoot any issues.

Qualifications and Skills





- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering/Civil Engineering or a related field.

- 2 years of experience in plumbing design for IT, commercial, residential, hospitality, and hospital projects.

- Proficiency in AutoCAD/ZWCAD

- Robust understanding of plumbing codes, standards, and regulations.

- Experience in creating plumbing layouts, isometric drawings, and hydraulic calculations.

- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

- Familiarity with green building practices and sustainable plumbing design.

- Knowledge of fire protection design is a plus.
