Objective To serve patients by preparing medications, medical goods handling and maintaining data for OP pharmacy.
Key Responsibilities

Handling of Medicines
- Dispensing of medicines as per prescription
- Bill making and receiving payments for medicines
- Indent purchase: Checking of stock after purchase as per list sent to vendor
- Physical verification of all medicines
- Sending scanned copy of purchase bill to purchase department
- Generating Goods Received Note(GRN) for items received
- Keeping count of daily bills made in the pharmacy
- Thorough checking of Expiry date for all medicines on a monthly basis
- Segregation of expired medicines and sending them back to their respective vendors
- Issuing gatepass for all expired or rejected medicines on a monthly basis
- Coordinating with doctors about any queries regarding changes or substitute medicines from the patient’s prescription and taking their approval
- Conducting prescription audit based on the parameters mentioned as per the guidelines
- Returning the non-moving items to their respective vendors
- Counting the amount collected everytime at the time of handing over during shift change
- Preparing indent on the basis of shortage list and frequently prescribed medicines

Record Keeping
- Maintaining temperature register of fridge and making entries thrice a day after checking the same
- Maintain register for cash handling and petty cash received daily by on duty pharmacist
- Maintaining MIS for current stock, goods sold, product bounced etc
