Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Pharma Procurement Manager to lead sourcing, vendor management, and procurement operations for our pharmaceutical/healthcare/wellness business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procuring raw materials, packaging, APIs (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients), and finished goods within a regulated healthcare, pharma, or wellness environment, ensuring cost efficiency, compliance, and uninterrupted supply chain continuity.

Key Responsibilities Procurement &

• Sourcing ● Develop and execute procurement strategies for APIs, excipients, packaging materials, and finished pharmaceutical/wellness products. ● Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable domestic and international suppliers/vendors. ● Negotiate pricing, contracts, and service level agreements (SLAs) to optimize cost without compromising quality. ● Monitor market trends, raw material price fluctuations, and supply risks to inform procurement decisions. Vendor &

• Supplier Management ● Build and maintain robust relationships with manufacturers, distributors, and suppliers. ● Conduct regular vendor audits and performance evaluations (quality, delivery timelines, compliance). ● Manage vendor onboarding, qualification, and documentation as per regulatory requirements (GMP, WHO-GMP, FDA, etc.). ● Resolve supplier-related issues including delays, quality deviations, and disputes. Compliance &





• Quality Assurance ● Ensure all procurement activities comply with pharma regulatory standards (CDSCO, FDA, WHO-GMP, ISO, GDP as applicable). ● Coordinate with Quality Assurance/Regulatory teams to verify supplier certifications, licenses, and product compliance. ● Maintain accurate documentation for audits, inspections, and regulatory filings. Inventory &

• Supply Chain Coordination ● Collaborate with production, warehouse, and logistics teams to forecast demand and maintain optimal inventory levels. ● Prevent stockouts and overstocking through effective planning and vendor coordination. ● Track purchase orders, deliveries, and ensure timely fulfillment. Cost &

• Contract Management ● Manage procurement budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities. ● Draft, review, and finalize purchase contracts and agreements. ● Prepare procurement reports, cost analysis, and MIS for management review.

Required Qualifications &

Experience ● Bachelor's/Master's degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. ● 3–8+ years of relevant experience in procurement within the Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, or Wellness industry (experience level flexible based on seniority of role). ● Strong knowledge of pharma raw materials, packaging, APIs, and regulatory/compliance requirements. ● Proven experience in vendor negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management. ● Familiarity with procurement/ERP software (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
