There are five aspects to Performance Engineering: software development lifecycle and architecture, performance testing and validation, capacity planning, application performance management and problem detection and resolution.

Must have skills : Performance Testing Strategy Good to have skills : NA Minimum 3 Year(s) Of Experience Is Required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Summary: As a Performance Engineer, a typical day involves investigating and resolving complex performance issues that have challenged the internal performance testing team. The role encompasses a broad spectrum of activities including understanding software development lifecycles and system architecture, validating performance through rigorous testing, planning for capacity needs, managing application performance, and identifying as well as addressing problems proactively. This position requires a dynamic approach to ensure systems operate efficiently and meet expected performance standards, often collaborating with various teams to maintain optimal application behavior and reliability throughout the software lifecycle.

Roles & Responsibilities: Expected to perform independently and become an SME.





Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.

Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze performance bottlenecks and recommend improvements.

Develop and maintain documentation related to performance testing processes and outcomes.

Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on performance engineering best practices.

Continuously monitor application performance metrics to detect anomalies and initiate corrective actions.

Qualified & Technical Skills: Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Performance Testing Strategy.

Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle and architecture principles.

Experience with capacity planning and application performance management techniques.

Ability to diagnose and resolve complex performance issues effectively.

Familiarity with performance testing tools and methodologies.

Skilled in problem detection and resolution within performance engineering contexts.

Additional Information: The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Performance Testing Strategy.

This position is based at our Bengaluru office.

A 15 years full time education is required.
