Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Patent Attorney role based in Delhi, India.

The Patent

Attorney will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and prosecuting patent applications related to AI, software, and other technology innovations developed by CredgeSol.ai. Day-to-day work includes conducting prior art searches, performing patentability and freedom-to-operate analyses, and preparing transparent, technically accurate patent specifications and claims. The role involves advising internal stakeholders on IP strategy, assessing invention disclosures, and aligning patent portfolios with the company’s business objectives.

The Patent

Attorney will collaborate with engineering, product,



and leadership teams, manage interactions with patent offices and external counsel as needed, and help ensure global IP compliance and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of patent law, including drafting, filing, prosecution, and portfolio management.
- Experience with technology-focused patents, preferably in AI, software, data analytics, automation, or telecom-related innovations.
- Ability to conduct patent searches, assess prior art, and perform patentability, infringement, and freedom-to-operate analyses.
- Excellent legal writing, analytical reasoning, and attention to detail for preparing patent specifications, claims, and legal opinions.
- Demonstrated capability to work closely with technical teams, translate complex concepts into clear legal language, and communicate effectively with non-legal stakeholders.
- Registered Patent Attorney or Patent Agent status and license to practice before the relevant patent office (e.g., Indian Patent Office); bar membership is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in law (LLB/LLM) and a technical background in engineering, computer science, or a related field is highly beneficial.
- Prior experience in an IP law firm or in-house IP department, with focus on technology and innovation-driven businesses.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
