Our client is seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join their team as a Patent Associate in the Department Patent.

Job Overview: The Patent Associate will be responsible for supporting the team in all aspects of patent prosecution and searching. The ideal candidate should have a strong educational background in chemistry, preferably in plant or agro-chemistry, or organic chemistry and some experience in patent Prosecution and Searching.

Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):

- Conduct prior searches and analyse search results

- Prepare and file patent applications

- Respond to office actions from patent offices

- Conduct patentability and freedom-to-operate analyses

- Conduct legal and technical research as required

- Assist with other patent-related matters as needed

Requirements:

- PhD in Chemistry, preferably in plant / Agro or related chemistry field.

- 1-2 years of experience in patent prosecution and searching

- Knowledge of patent laws and regulations

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Detail-oriented and highly organized





The Patent Associate will report to the Department Patent Head and work closely with other members of the patent team. This is a full-time position with competitive salary and advantages package.
