Role Description The Owner at Films at Crossroads is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the business, including creative development, production planning, budgeting, and strategic growth. This full time, on-site role in Bengaluru involves managing day-to-day operations, building and maintaining relationships with creative partners, vendors, and clients, and making key decisions on project selection and resource allocation.
The Owner will guide the creative direction of the slate, supervise project timelines, and ensure high standards of quality and professionalism across all outputs. The role also includes handling contracts, financial oversight,
marketing and promotional initiatives, and representing the company at industry events, meetings, and negotiations.
Qualifications
- Strong background in film, media, or entertainment with experience in project development, production, or content management.
- Demonstrated ability in business management, including budgeting, financial oversight, and strategic planning.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with capacity to collaborate effectively with creative and technical professionals.
- Proficiency in negotiation, stakeholder management, and relationship-building with partners, vendors, and clients.
- Solid understanding of film production workflows, timelines, and industry best practices.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, suitable for internal and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of marketing, distribution channels, and audience engagement strategies in the film and digital content space.
- Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media Studies, Business, or a related field is preferred; relevant experience may substitute.
- Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and make informed decisions under time constraints.
