Company Description Rotaract Club of Indiana University is a vibrant community of students and young professionals ages 18+ who are committed to service, leadership, and collaboration. Role Description The Owner role is a full-time, on-site position based in New Delhi, responsible for providing overall strategic and operational leadership for the Rotaract Club of Indiana University’s activities in the region. Day-to-day tasks include planning and overseeing service projects, coordinating events and meetings, and managing partnerships with local organizations and Rotary counterparts. The Owner leads member engagement, supports recruitment and retention, and ensures that club initiatives align with Rotaract and Rotary International values and guidelines.
This role involves supervising budgets and resources, monitoring project outcomes,
and reporting progress to relevant stakeholders. The Owner also represents the club at regional and international forums, fostering collaboration and maintaining a positive, inclusive environment for all members.
Qualifications
- Leadership and management skills, including experience guiding teams, delegating responsibilities, and setting strategic priorities.
- Project and event coordination skills, with the ability to plan, organize, and execute service initiatives and community events.
- Robust communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with students, young professionals, partner organizations, and Rotary peers.
- Stakeholder and community engagement skills, including relationship-building, networking, and partnership development.
- Basic budgeting and organizational skills to oversee resources, track expenditures, and ensure responsible use of funds.
- Demonstrated commitment to community service, social impact, and inclusive leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in fields such as social sciences, management, public administration, or related areas is preferred.
- Prior involvement in Rotaract, student organizations, nonprofits, or volunteering initiatives is highly beneficial.
