Role Description The Owner at EVTech.news will oversee all aspects of the publication, including editorial direction, business operations, and brand development. This full-time, in office role in Pune District involves planning and managing content calendars, coordinating writers or contributors, reviewing and approving articles, and ensuring consistent quality and relevance. The Owner will build and maintain partnerships with industry stakeholders, manage advertising or sponsorship opportunities, and monitor audience growth and engagement through analytics and feedback.

Responsibilities also include budgeting, basic financial oversight, and identifying new opportunities to expand the platform’s reach, products, and services.



The role requires hands-on involvement in daily operations and a strong commitment to the mission of advancing electric vehicle awareness.

Qualifications

Ability to develop and execute editorial and business strategies, with strong planning and organizational skills.

Experience in content creation, journalism, or media management, preferably in technology, automotive, or sustainability domains.

Solid understanding of the electric vehicle ecosystem, market trends, and related policy or infrastructure developments.

Competence in managing partnerships, sponsorships, and stakeholder relationships in a professional, ethical manner.

Basic financial and operational management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking.

Proficiency with digital publishing tools, web analytics, and social media platforms for audience growth and engagement.

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; additional regional languages are an advantage.

Demonstrated leadership, decision-making ability, and readiness to work on-site full time in Pune District.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Media, or a related field is preferred; relevant experience may substitute.
