Role Description The Overseas Education Counsellor is a full time, remote role responsible for guiding prospective students and professionals through international education and migration options, with a focus on Australia. Day-to-day tasks include conducting one-on-one counselling sessions, assessing academic and career goals, and recommending suitable courses, institutions, and pathways. The role involves providing accurate information on admission requirements, visa processes, and documentation, and supporting clients in preparing applications and necessary paperwork.

The counsellor will maintain regular communication with clients, track progress,



and coordinate with educational providers and internal teams to ensure a consistent and high-quality service experience. The position also includes maintaining up-to-date knowledge of education systems, migration policies, and market trends, and contributing to outreach activities such as webinars or informational sessions.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Educational Consulting and Education, with the ability to guide clients on suitable academic pathways and institutions.

- Proficiency in Student Counseling and Career Counseling, supporting individuals in aligning education choices with long-term career goals.

- Excellent Communication skills, including clear written and verbal interaction with clients and stakeholders across diverse backgrounds.

- Relevant experience in overseas education counselling, migration advisory, or a related field is highly beneficial.

- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Social Sciences, Business, or a related discipline preferred.

- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple cases, and maintain organized records and follow-ups.

- Strong attention to detail, ethical practice, and client-focused mindset; familiarity with Australian education and migration systems is an advantage.
