Role Description The OSD (Officer on Special Duty) to the Vice Chancellor is a full-time, on-site role based in Unnao. The role involves providing direct administrative, strategic, and operational support to the Vice Chancellor, including managing schedules, coordinating meetings, preparing briefs, and drafting official communications. The OSD will assist in monitoring implementation of key academic and administrative initiatives, tracking progress on strategic projects, and preparing reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

Daily responsibilities include liaising with university departments, regulatory bodies, and partners, ensuring timely follow-up on decisions,



and maintaining accurate documentation and records. The position also involves supporting policy formulation, data-driven decision-making, and special projects related to institutional growth, quality assurance, and AI-enabled academic processes.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess solid administrative and coordination skills, including calendar management, meeting organization, and documentation handling.

Candidates should possess excellent communication abilities, including drafting official correspondence, report writing, and stakeholder engagement.

Candidates should possess strategic and analytical skills, such as project monitoring, data interpretation, and policy or process improvement support.

Candidates should possess proficiency in digital tools and basic AI-enabled or technology-driven workflows used in modern academic administration.

Postgraduate degree in a relevant field (such as Management, Education Administration, Public Administration, or related disciplines) is preferred.

Prior experience in higher education administration, working with senior leadership or governing bodies, will be highly beneficial.
