We are looking for an experienced Oracle Retail developer with strong expertise in RPM (Retail Price Management), ORMS, and ReIM modules. The ideal candidate will have solid PL/SQL and Unix shell scripting skills, along with hands-on experience across multiple Oracle Retail implementation projects, to design, develop, test, and support retail pricing and promotions solutions.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 6+ years of development experience in Oracle Retail applications
- Experience with ORMS v14, v16, ReIM, and RPM (technical: PL/SQL, Shell scripting)
- Worked on multiple implementation projects involving RMS v14/v16
- Strong PL/SQL knowledge stored procedures, triggers, functions, dynamic SQL, materialized views, PL/SQL collections
- Unix shell scripting skills and decent Pro*C knowledge
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Client-focused approach to service delivery
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop, review, and test code based on technical designs
- Apply business and functional knowledge to prepare test scenarios
- Plan, execute, and capture test results
- Prepare technical designs based on functional requirements
- Maintain and check in developed code in the code repository
- Monitor and troubleshoot bugs/issues related to nightly batches and applications
- Identify bottleneck queries and suggest tuning ideas for long-running batches based on NFRs (Non-Functional Requirements)
