About the Role The Operations Manager shall be responsible for planning, executing, monitoring, and controlling all operational activities related to Crane Rental Services and WTG (Wind Turbine Generator) Erection & Commissioning projects. The incumbent will ensure timely project execution, optimum utilization of cranes, manpower, and equipment while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, statutory compliance, operational efficiency, and client satisfaction.

The role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, resource optimization, commercial understanding, and complete ownership of operations across multiple project sites.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operations Planning & Project Execution

- Plan and execute all Crane Rental and WTG Erection & Commissioning operations.
- Prepare project execution plans, mobilization schedules, and deployment strategies.
- Ensure timely mobilization and demobilization of cranes, equipment, manpower, and tools.
- Monitor project progress and ensure completion within agreed timelines.
- Resolve operational challenges to minimize downtime.

2. Crane & Equipment Management

- Ensure optimum utilization of cranes and heavy equipment.
- Monitor equipment availability, maintenance schedules, certifications, and statutory inspections.
- Coordinate preventive and breakdown maintenance with the maintenance team.
- Minimize equipment idle time and maximize utilization.

3. Resource & Manpower Management

- Plan and deploy manpower as per project requirements.
- Monitor productivity, attendance, and discipline of site teams.
- Coordinate with HR for recruitment, mobilization, and workforce planning.
- Ensure availability of certified operators, riggers, supervisors, and technicians.

4. Client & Project Coordination

- Act as the primary operational contact for clients.




- Attend client meetings and review project progress.
- Resolve client concerns promptly and maintain strong business relationships.
- Ensure contractual obligations and service-level commitments are achieved.

5. Safety, Quality & Compliance

- Ensure strict compliance with HSE policies and statutory regulations.
- Enforce PPE usage and safe lifting practices.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and operational audits.
- Investigate incidents and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

6. MIS & Operational Reporting

Prepare and present

- Daily Operations Reports

- Crane Utilization Reports

- Project Progress Reports

- Manpower Deployment Reports

- Equipment Downtime Reports

- Monthly Operations MIS

- Client Performance Reports
- Cost & Productivity Reports

Present operational reviews and action plans to the Director. 7. Cost Control & Commercial Management

- Monitor project budgets and operational costs.
- Optimize fuel, manpower, transportation, and equipment expenses.
- Improve profitability through efficient resource utilization.
- Support commercial evaluations for new projects and contract execution.

8. Interdepartmental Coordination

- Coordinate with HR, Accounts, Procurement, Stores, Maintenance, Logistics, and Project teams.
- Ensure timely availability of materials, equipment, statutory documents, and project resources.
- Support billing, documentation, and project closure activities.

9. Team Leadership

- Lead Operations Supervisors, Site Engineers, Coordinators, Operators, and Field Teams.
- Conduct performance reviews and operational meetings.
- Mentor and develop team members.
- Build a high-performance, safety-focused, and accountable work culture.





Mandatory Qualification

- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Operations Management, or a related discipline.

Preferred Qualification

- MBA (Operations)
- Certifications in Project Management, HSE, Lifting Operations, Lean, or Six Sigma will be an added advantage.

Experience

- 7–10 years of relevant experience in Operations Management.
- Mandatory experience in Crane Rental, Heavy Equipment, WTG Erection & Commissioning, EPC, Infrastructure, Renewable Energy, or Industrial Projects.

Working Hours as per company policy and project requirements. Compensation as per company norms and the candidate's qualifications, experience, and competency.

Pay: ₹15,290.58 - ₹58,627.94 per month
