JOB RESPOSIBILITIES:ï‚· Understanding business objectives and developing models that help to achieve them, alongwith metrics to track their progressï‚· Analyzing the Data Science algorithms that could be used to solve a given problem andranking them by their success probabilityï‚· Developing robust solutions for logistics for vehicle routing, scheduling, planning, demandforecasting, workforce management, network design & optimization, etc.ï‚· Develop solutions based on advanced statistical modeling, simulations, optimizationalgorithms, etc. to help decision makers take complex business decisions in variousbusiness scenariosï‚· Lead/ collaborate with a team of data scientists in developing and delivering machinelearning models for production settingï‚· Understand key business processes, operational constraints, critical bottlenecks andmetrics to optimize at a detailed levelï‚· Improve key organizational metrics through developing data-science based solutionsï‚· Perform data wrangling and due diligence activities on data qualityï‚· Performing Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA), defining the preprocessing or featureengineering to be done on a given dataset, developing Machine Learning models, validatingmodels, deployment, etc.ï‚· Collaborate with the application development team for deploying the data science solutionsï‚· Proactively drive impact to business by owning the data science initiatives end-to-end andcollaborating with other stakeholdersï‚· Collaborate with the Operations, Network,



Control Tower and Business Analysis team todevelop cutting edge analytics solutions that improve the businessï‚· Maintain thorough and comprehensive documentation of data science initiativesï‚· Develop robust work products by following best practices through all stages ofdevelopment, testing & deployment

ELIGIBILITY:ï‚· BE/Tech in Engineering, MBA/Masters/PhD candidates preferredï‚· Solid background in strong in Statistics, Supply Chain and Operations Research conceptsï‚· Domain experience in working on logistics, supply chain or operations research areaswould be preferredï‚· Experience in solving complex & large scale problems such as linear, non-linearprogramming, mixed integer optimization, etc.ï‚· Ability to independently and proactively drive initiatives with minimal supervisionï‚· Strong working knowledge of solvers such as CPLEX, GUROBI, LINDO, etc.ï‚· Proficient in Python & R, with sound knowledge of OOPS conceptsï‚· Expertise in Optimization, Simulations, Queuing Theory, Game Theory, ForecastingTechniques, etc.ï‚· Familiarity with statistical modeling, machine-learning approaches & deep-learningï‚· Experience in using Big Data platforms, Spark & Hadoop platform would be preferredï‚· Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively manage stakeholdersï‚· Experience with working on a variety of Logistics, Supply Chain or Operations researchuse-cases in Ecommerceï‚· Excellent understanding of statistics, probability, linear algebra and other mathematicalconcepts that supports modern ML and Optimization techniquesï‚· Familiarity with data visualization tools
