Role Description The Operations Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, responsible for overseeing day-to-day operational activities to ensure smooth functioning of insurance and investment operations. This role includes managing workflows, coordinating between sales, customer service, and back-office teams, and monitoring operational performance against service standards and regulatory requirements.

The Operations

Manager will review and improve processes, handle escalations, ensure accurate documentation and data management, and support implementation of current tools or systems. The role also involves supervising team members, tracking productivity, preparing operational reports for leadership,



and collaborating with stakeholders to enhance client experience and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

- Strong operations management skills, including workflow planning, process optimization, and performance monitoring.
- Experience in financial services operations, preferably in insurance or investment domains, with knowledge of compliance and risk controls.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting using spreadsheets and operational dashboards.
- Effective people management skills, including team supervision, coaching, and conflict resolution.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams and client-facing stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfort with using CRM systems, policy administration platforms, or investment operations tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification or professional certification in operations or financial services is an advantage.
- Relevant experience in an operations leadership role, ideally within insurance, investments, or broader financial services.
