Job Title: Operations Leader Examination & Assessment Services

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Operations Leader to lead and oversee large-scale examination and assessment operations. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between strategic planning and operational execution while ensuring secure, effective, and high-quality delivery across examination services.

This role is best suited for professionals with 20+ years of experience in Examination Conduction, Testing & Assessment, preferably within the Education, University, Government, or Institutional sector.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and collaborate with Project Managers to successfully deliver:

Internet-Based Tests (IBT) / Computer-Based Tests (CBT)

Large-scale Paper-Based (OMR) Recruitment Examinations

University Admissions and Counselling Processes

Pre-Examination and Post-Examination Operations

Digital Evaluation and Assessment Services

- Design, implement, and continuously improve secure, scalable, and efficient operational processes.
- Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) aligned with industry best practices.
- Prepare project plans and ensure timely, high-quality execution.
- Monitor direct expenses and administrative costs, driving operational efficiency and cost optimization.
- Act as the primary interface with Government Departments (State/Central), PSUs, Universities, Colleges, and other institutional clients.
- Support business growth initiatives by working closely with Business Development and Sales teams.
- Prepare commercial proposals, pricing strategies, and manage tendering processes.
- Lead multiple high-priority projects while maintaining quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
- Drive operational excellence through process improvements and effective crisis management.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Minimum 15+ years of relevant experience in Examination, Testing & Assessment Operations.
- Proven experience managing large-scale examination projects in Universities, Educational Institutions, Government Bodies, or Assessment Organizations.
- Strong leadership with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience handling multiple complex projects with high accuracy.
- Strong business acumen with an ownership mindset.

Educational Qualification

- Masters degree in operations management or any Postgraduate degree with strong computer proficiency.

Mandatory Requirements

- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Expertise in process improvement and operational excellence.
- Ability to manage multiple fast-paced projects simultaneously.
- Strong client management skills.

Preferred Qualifications Multilingual proficiency, Six Sigma and/or PMP Certification.
