Participate in war room calls during major infrastructure incidents affecting virtual or cloud environments Handle escalation matrix and maintain clear communication with business and technical stakeholders Provide timely status updates during incidents, maintenance windows, and VM provisioning change events Participate in governance, service review, CAB, and capacity planning meetings Coordinate with VMware Support, AWS Support, and Microsoft Premier Support for critical issue resolution Technical Experience: 3 to 5 years of total experience in system administration covering Windows Server, VMware, and AWS in a hybrid environment Hands-on experience with VMware vSphere administration including vCenter, ESXi, vSAN, vMotion, DRS, and HA Working knowledge of Windows Server administration including Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and patch management Practical experience writing Ansible playbooks for Windows and/or Linux configuration management and automation Practical experience with AWS EC2, VPC, IAM, and Systems Manager in a production environment VMware VCP-DCV or VMware vSphere Foundation certification preferred AWS SysOps Administrator Associate and Red Hat Ansible Automation certification a plus Skilled Attributes: Strong communication and stakeholder management skills in a client-facing environment Ability to handle critical virtualization and cloud infrastructure incidents under pressure Flexible to work in a hybrid on-call or 24/7 rotation model as required Strong analytical mindset with experience troubleshooting across physical, virtual, and cloud layers Willingness to cross-train across VMware, AWS, and Ansible tooling and adopt IaC practices Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
