Project Role : Operations Engineer Project Role Description : Support the operations and/or manage delivery for production systems and services based on operational requirements and service agreement.

Must have skills : Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) Positive to have skills : NA Minimum 3 Year(s) Of Experience Is Required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Summary: Act as the ongoing interface between the client and the system or application. Responsible for end-to-end administration and development support of Microsoft SQL Server (MS-SQL) database environments, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) ETL pipelines, and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) reporting platforms across hybrid on-premises and cloud infrastructure. Applies T-SQL and PL/SQL skills to support database development.

Must Have Skills: Microsoft SQL Server (2012/2016/2019/2022), SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), T-SQL (Transact-SQL), PL/SQL (Oracle Procedural Language), ETL Pipeline Development & Administration, Hybrid Database Operations, Stored Procedure & Query Optimization Job Requirements: Key Responsibilities: Administer Microsoft SQL Server (2012, 2016, 2019, 2022, 2025) instances across on-premises and cloud-hosted (Azure SQL / AWS RDS for SQL Server) environments Design, develop, deploy, and maintain SSIS packages and ETL pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and distribution across heterogeneous source systems Develop, publish, and administer SSRS reports, paginated reports, data sources, and datasets. Write, optimize, and maintain T-SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers, views, and dynamic SQL for application and reporting use cases Develop and migrate PL/SQL stored procedures, packages, and functions Manage SSIS catalog (SSISDB): package deployments, environment variables, project parameters, execution logging, and error handling frameworks Perform SQL Server routine DBA tasks:



backup and restore, index maintenance Management Views (DMVs), SQL Server Profiler, and Extended Events Support ETL pipeline scheduling via SQL Server Agent and coordinate pipeline dependencies Implement and maintain SSRS security including role-based access, report subscriptions Perform database schema management including DDL scripting, version-controlled migrations Conduct data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance across ETL pipelines Implement database security controls including TDE, SQL Server Audit, column-level encryption, and role-based access management Maintain ETL pipeline documentation, SSRS report inventories, T-SQL / PL/SQL code Enterprise Tools & Platforms: MS-SQL: SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), SQL Server Agent, SQL Server Profiler, Extended Events, Database Mail, Linked Servers, Always On AG SSIS: Visual Studio SSDT, SSIS Catalog (SSISDB), SSIS Scale Out, Control Flow / Data Flow design, error redirection, package configurations, logging providers SSRS: SSRS Web Portal / Report Manager, Report Builder, SSDT RDL/RDLC authoring, tablix, matrix, chart, map report items, KPI indicators, subscriptions T-SQL: Stored Procedures, Functions (scalar, table-valued, inline), Views, Triggers, CTEs, Window Functions, Dynamic SQL, Temp Tables, Cursors, Merge statements PL/SQL: Oracle Packages, Procedures, Functions, Cursors, Exception Handling, Bulk Collect / FORALL, Dynamic SQL, PL/SQL Collections, Oracle DB Links Version Control: Git (T-SQL / SSIS / SSRS source control), Redgate SQL Source Control Monitoring: SQL Server Agent Alerts, SSRS Execution Log,



SSIS catalog reports, Datadog, Dynatrace, SCOM Automation: PowerShell (dbatools, SqlServer module), T-SQL scripting, Azure CLI, SSRS REST API ITSM: ServiceNow SLA / KPI Ownership: Ensure adherence to SLA/KPI commitments across MS-SQL, SSIS ETL pipelines, and SSRS reporting platforms including patching Track MTTR (Mean Time to Resolve) and MTTA (Mean Time to Acknowledge) for all database and pipeline incidents Publish service performance reports and contribute to monthly service review decks Client Facing Responsibilities: Participate in war room calls during major incidents affecting database availability, ETL pipelines, or reporting platforms Provide timely status updates during incidents, patching windows, ETL failures, and reporting change events Coordinate with Microsoft Premier Support and Azure engineering teams for critical platform issue resolution Technical Experience: 3-5 years of experience with focus on MSSQL, SSIS, SSRS, T-SQL, and PL/SQL Hands-on production experience developing and administering SSIS ETL packages Practical experience publishing and supporting SSRS reports including parameterized reports Working knowledge of PL/SQL for Oracle-to-MS-SQL cross-platform integration Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate or MCSE: Data Management and Analytics preferred experience with Redgate tooling a plus Professional Attributes: Good communication and stakeholder management skills in a client-facing environment Ability to handle critical data pipeline or reporting incidents and coordinate escalations under pressure Flexible to work in a hybrid on-call or 24/7 rotation model as required Detail-oriented with a strong focus on data integrity, query correctness, and ETL pipeline reliability Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
