Role Description This is a part time, remote role for an Online Maths Mentor working in the US shift.

The Online Maths

Mentor will conduct live, interactive online math sessions for school-age learners, guiding them through concepts, problem-solving techniques, and applications in a clear and engaging way. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning lesson content, delivering sessions via online platforms, assessing learner understanding, and providing constructive feedback. The mentor will collaborate with the academic team to align content with program goals, maintain progress records, and communicate with parents or guardians as needed.





The role also involves using digital tools to create engaging activities and ensuring a safe, inclusive, and supportive online learning environment.

Qualifications

Strong foundation in school-level mathematics (algebra, geometry, arithmetic, and basic statistics) and the ability to explain concepts clearly to young learners.

Experience in online teaching, mentoring, or tutoring, with skill in facilitating interactive, student-centric classes.

Proficiency with digital tools and online classroom platforms, including video conferencing and collaborative whiteboards.

Excellent communication skills, including clear spoken and written English, with patience and the ability to adjust teaching style to different learning needs.

Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and maintain consistent availability during US shift hours.

Bachelor’s degree or ongoing studies in Mathematics, Education, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Prior experience working with children or young learners and a strong interest in education and STEM is an advantage.
