We are seeking a Technical Implementation Consultant to join our Global Consulting Group. This is a high-impact role for a technology professional who is passionate about delivering scalable ERP solutions and driving digital transformation for global customers.

The Technical Implementation Consultant is responsible for the delivery of technical consulting services to customers, including solution architecture, custom development, integrations, data migration, reporting, and technical configuration for Odoo ERP implementations.

The Technical Implementation Consultant works closely with Business Consultants, Project Managers, Solution Architects, and customer stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and high-quality ERP solutions while defining, improving, and driving technical best practices across customer implementations. The Technical Implementation Consultant may also participate in pre-sales engagements during solution demonstrations, technical discovery, estimation, and scoping activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Partner with Business Consultants and customer stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions aligned with Odoo implementation best practices.
- Design, develop, customize, and implement Odoo modules, workflows, server actions and automation based on customer requirements.
- Develop and maintain integrations between Odoo and third-party applications using REST APIs, XML-RPC, JSON, web services, middleware and other integration technologies.
- Design, execute and validate data migration activities, including data mapping, cleansing, transformation, loading and reconciliation from legacy systems.
- Configure security roles, user permissions, workflows, scheduled actions, reports, dashboards and technical platform components.
- Develop custom reports, documents, dashboards and analytics to support customer reporting and operational requirements.
- Collaborate with Project Managers to define technical implementation strategies, project plans, deployment approaches and risk mitigation activities.
- Participate in technical design sessions,



architecture discussions, code reviews, and solution validation workshops with internal teams and customer stakeholders.
- Perform technical testing, unit testing, System Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support, defect resolution and deployment readiness activities.
- Create and maintain technical design documents, integration specifications, deployment guides, code documentation, and knowledge transfer materials.
- Support production deployments, environment management, release management and post-go-live technical support activities.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues, identify root causes and implement sustainable solutions to ensure customer success.
- Collaborate with Business Consultants, QA teams, DevOps and customer IT teams throughout the implementation lifecycle.
- Contribute to pre-sales activities, including technical solution design, effort estimation, proof-of-concepts, demonstrations and proposal development.
- Develop reusable technical assets, accelerators, automation frameworks and coding standards to improve delivery quality and implementation efficiency.
- Mentor junior technical consultants by promoting development standards, best practices and continuous learning.
- Maintain high customer satisfaction, delivery quality, utilization, and project KPIs.
- Stay current with emerging ERP technologies, AI, Python development cloud platforms, integration technologies, and Odoo product enhancements to deliver innovative customer solutions.
- Travel up to 50% to support customer engagement and project delivery as required.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Information Systems,



Engineering or a related technical field.
- 35 years of ERP implementation experience, including at least 2+ years delivering medium to large-scale Odoo ERP implementations.
- Strong hands-on experience with Odoo development, including custom module development, ORM framework, Python, XML, QWeb, JavaScript, PostgreSQL and Odoo Studio.
- Experience developing integrations using REST APIs, XML-RPC, JSON, SOAP Web Services, SFTP, OAuth and third-party integration platforms.
- Experience designing and executing data migration activities, ETL processes, data validation, reconciliation and deployment strategies.
- Strong understanding of Odoo architecture, security model, workflows, reporting framework, automation and module customization.
- Experience developing reports, dashboards, business documents, and custom technical solutions within the Odoo ecosystem.
- Strong proficiency in Python, PostgreSQL, Git, Linux environments, and software development best practices.
- Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, release management, version control and deployment processes.
- Experience collaborating with Business Consultants, Project Managers, QA teams, customer IT teams, and cross-functional stakeholders throughout implementation projects.
- Solid analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex technical challenges.
- Excellent customer-facing consulting, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple technical workstreams and deliver high-quality solutions with minimal supervision.
- Experience supporting pre-sales activities, technical estimations, solution architecture, demonstrations and proof-of-concepts is highly preferred.
- Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, cloud hosting environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and DevOps practices is an added advantage.
