End User Computing (EUC) Tools & Technologies SME

(Global Digital Workplace)

Role Title

EUC Tools & Technologies SME – Nexthink, BeyondTrust (Bomgar), Digital Experience & Remote Support

Function

Group Digital & IT – Digital Workplace / End User Computing

Location

Global role (Hybrid / Onsite as required across SKF manufacturing plants and office locations)

Experience

- 8–12+ years in End User Computing / Digital Workplace technologies
- 3–5+ years as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for EUC tools such as Nexthink, BeyondTrust (Bomgar), or equivalent platforms

Role Purpose

The EUC Tools & Technologies SME is responsible for the design, operation, optimization, and governance of enterprise EUC tooling that improves digital employee experience, secure remote support, automation, and operational resilience.

The role supports SKF’s global objectives by:

- Reducing EUC incidents through proactive and automationfirst operations
- Enhancing productivity for factory, engineering, and office users
- Ensuring secure, compliant, and auditable endpoint support
- Enabling consistent global standards while supporting local site needs

This role acts as a technical authority and trusted advisor across EUC Operations, Service Desk,



Cyber Security, Infrastructure, and Manufacturing IT teams.

Key Responsibilities

EUC Tools Architecture & Strategy

- Own the architecture, standards, and technical roadmap for EUC tools across SKF.
- Align tooling strategy with Digital Workplace, Manufacturing IT, and Cyber Security principles.
- Evaluate, design, and onboard EUC tools with a focus on business value, scalability, and security.

Nexthink – Digital Employee Experience (Primary Responsibility)

- Design and operate Nexthink architecture (Collectors, Engines, Portal, Campaigns).
- Create realtime dashboards and experience scores to monitor:
- Endpoint performance
- Login and application experience
- Stability issues impacting production and engineering users

- Develop Nexthink campaigns for:

- Proactive remediation
- Automated fixes
- User engagement and notifications

- Integrate Nexthink with ITSM platforms (ServiceNow or equivalent).

BeyondTrust / Bomgar – Secure Remote Support

- Implement and manage BeyondTrust (Bomgar) for secure remote support at SKF sites.
