Job Profile:

The incumbent would be responsible for the following:

1. Machine uptime and Zero breakdown.





- Ensuring machine more than 97% machine uptime & zero breakdown.

- Ensuring zero downtime of machine due to non- availability of spares.

- Carrying out timely preventive maintenance of allotted machines as per schedule.

-- Updating PM sheet to include learnings from machine breakdowns to prevent recurrence of same issues

- Maintaining inventory of spares to ensure timely availability of spares for preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance & time-based maintenance.

- Ordering recent spares & following up with Purchase for spares & repairs.

- Identify & execute improvement projects to reduce machine downtime including time required for PM & to reduce maintenance cost including consumables, spares & energy cost

2. Preventive maintenance and Calibration.

- Ensuring 100% adherence to machine preventive & calibration schedules

- Analyzing the root cause of failure & implementing corrective action through kaizens, to prevent recurrence of problem in future

- Checking machine levelling & machine geometry as per schedule.

- Planning & carrying out level & geometry correction, if required.

3. Organization Wide Initiatives

- Implementation & Adherence to IMS, Safety & HK Standards & Processes.

- Implementing Kaizen & Improvement Projects to machine downtime & maintenance cost.

- Carryout kaizens to improve the service life of equipment & spares.

- Identifying & eliminating safety hazards on machine & utilities.

- Uploading safety hazards & near miss in system.

- Maintain department & workstation housekeeping
